Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce declared a quarterly common share dividend of $1.07 for the quarter ending 31 January 2026, an increase of 10 cents a share.
The bank had paid 97 cents a share for the three preceding quarters — those ending 30 April, 31 July and 31 October 2025.
Context
The increase came alongside CIBC’s fourth-quarter results for fiscal 2025. Canadian banks operate on a fiscal year ending 31 October and conventionally review dividends with quarterly earnings.
Holding a dividend flat for three quarters and then raising it in a single larger step is common among the Canadian banks, which tend to raise once or twice a year rather than in smaller quarterly increments.
Most of the large Canadian banks raised their dividends in the same year-end round. Figures for each are in their respective quarterly results announcements.
