This site collects nothing.
No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts. The detail below is longer than the summary only because it says so specifically.
- Nothing is collected
- DividendsCanada has no accounts, no sign-in, no contact form and no comment section. There is nothing here that asks who you are, and nothing that would let us find out.
- No cookies
- This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics, no tracking
- No analytics service, no tag manager, no pixels, no session recording, no advertising network. We do not know how many people visit, which pages they read, or where they came from.
- No third-party scripts
- Every page is static HTML. The pages ship no JavaScript at all; the calculators ship their own and nothing else. Nothing loads from another company, so no other company sees your request.
- Calculators run in your browser
- Everything you type into a calculator stays in the tab. It is not sent anywhere, not stored, and is gone when you close the page. That is a property of how they are built, not a promise about how we behave.
- Your host sees your request
- This site is served by Cloudflare, which — like any web host — records requests it serves, including IP address, user agent, and the page requested, to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse. That processing is Cloudflare’s, under its own terms. We do not add to it, query it, or use it to build any profile.
- Links leave here
- Sources are linked so you can verify them, and most point to the Bank of Canada, the CRA, or an issuer’s own filings. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy practices, not these.
- Nothing is sold or shared
- There is no data to sell, share, or hand to a partner, because none is collected. There are no partners.
- If this changes
- Adding analytics, a mailing list, or any account would make parts of this page untrue, and it would be rewritten before that shipped rather than after. The date below is the last substantive revision. Questions: corrections@dividendscanada.com.
